Quick Birthday Card

I needed to make a quick card for my Aunt’s birthday, so as I love Pink Petticoat‘s designs (so clean, simple, elegant), I came up with this…

From Pink Petticoat’s “Marshmallow” pattern pack printed on 300gsm white card and trimmed to a square 14.85cm.  I added the “Happy Birthday” greeting using sticky foam squares for dimension (I believe the word art designer was TLC – sorry if it was someone else).  Because of the flash you can’t see that I have put foam squares behind it, although you can see it in the side-on view.

I created the insert by cropping the Marshmallow design to form top and bottom borders and then added a simple wish “…enjoy your day” (again, sorry I don’t know who the designer is).
